Why Use Numerical Data Interpretation Test?
Predict job performance and managerial potential
NDIT™ measures candidate ability to manipulate and interpret numerical information from dashboards and reports. These skills are rated as “important” for nearly 300 jobs ranging from sales managers to executives.
Save time in your hiring process
The results are presented in two ways - convenient online dashboard for quick viewing results and an easy-to-interpret profile report. This helps you to pinpoint suitable candidates immediately and makes your recruitment process more efficient.
Test with confidence
NDIT™ items have been designed to have high face validity and reflect the types of numerical data routinely encountered in numerous roles within the modern workplace.

Assess real world maths
Our test permits use of a calculator and includes free response items — just like data encountered at work. NDIT was developed in consultation with HR professionals, so items are business relevant and fair. A pilot study said the test is realistic (63%) and engaging (77%).
Reduce risk and the cost to hire
88% of hiring managers indicated that NDIT™ adds value to the hiring process.” Using NDIT you can screen out candidates unlikely to succeed.

What Does NDIT™ Measure?
NDIT™ assesses numerical reasoning ability related to the interpretation and manipulation of the types of numerical data routinely encountered in the workplace. It measures the ability to:
- Correctly analyze and interpret numerical information presented in surveys, reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards,
- Draw logical conclusions and correct inferences from numerical data,
- Calculate values using basic arithmetic operators,
- Work with percentages,
- Identify when additional data is required to draw conclusions.

A Fulfilling Training Experience
Completion of the BPS Test User: Occupational Ability Remote Training (Level A) verified course provides an industry standard qualification and enables use of NDIT™. The course, developed by Angus McDonald, has been designed according to the BPS qualification standards which define the knowledge and skills necessary for anyone using psychometric ability tests. A BPS combined course Level A & B is also available.
