The Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal is a verbal ability test measuring critical thinking ability. It is considered to be the industry standard measure of critical thinking ability. It assesses an individual’s ability to analyse, interpret, and draw logical conclusions from written information.
In this efficacy report, we look at the evidence informing the design as well as the reliability, validity, and fairness of the Watson-Glaser III. In addition, the way an assessment is implemented has as much influence on its efficacy as its design, so profiles of implementation of existing users are included.
