Patricia Sales Loiseau
Founder of Aurore Nouveaux Mondes

With a rich background in agencies, companies, and consulting firms, Patricia Sales Loiseau founded her own organization, Aurore Nouveaux Mondes. She now supports executives and management committees through individual and group coaching, leveraging her expertise in Human Resources and personal development. Her approach aims to deliver real added value through targeted interventions, enriched by training in psychosomatics and therapy using various media - art, nature, and inner dialogue.

In her coaching practice, she uses psychometric tests, including the SOSIE 2nd Generation, a personality and values inventory.

The Importance of Meaning and Objectivity

The main challenge in Human Resources today revolves around meaning. It is essential to ensure alignment between the proposed mission, the upcoming project, and the deep aspirations of the employee, candidate, or decision-maker. Personality inventories like SOSIE 2nd Generation play a crucial role in measuring this alignment; whether in recruitment, internal mobility, or progression to management or expert roles.

In the recurring challenges I see, such as matching profiles to roles, managing internal mobility, supporting transitions into leadership roles, preparing for professional interviews, and addressing motivation and management issues, SOSIE 2nd Generation helps objectify decisions. It provides a solid basis for constructive discussions about expectations, needs, and individual potential.

The Value of Using Psychometric Tests

Psychometric tests are powerful tools for self-discovery. They help individuals better understand themselves, clarify their choices, and articulate their needs, leading to informed decisions aligned with both personal and professional realities.

I have been using the SOSIE 2nd Generation, personality and values inventory for over 15 years.

In HR, it helps identify mobility projects or validate recruitment/profile alignment. In Development Center missions within consulting firms, it helps identify potential. Using SOSIE in these contexts allows me to better understand an employee’s motivations, share them explicitly with their manager, identify expectations or needs, guide training decisions, and foster broader and deeper awareness regarding professional futures.

I now also use SOSIE at the start of coaching engagements to precisely target the work to be done, based on the role’s challenges, expected commitment, and the specific needs of the coachee. The feedback session with the beneficiary is central, it enables deep insights and constructive three-way discussions when coaching is funded by the company.

In a coaching context, SOSIE helps, through debriefing, to assess the potential for change in a person, target the development of new behaviors, and optimize coaching time to achieve set goals.

A Win-Win Investment

Using psychometric tests truly enhances relevance, clarity, and self-awareness, a benefit that extends to both professional and personal spheres.

These tools help identify gaps between our core identity and our daily actions, allowing us to move away from relational games and toward authenticity and holistic alignment; head, heart, body. I support individuals in expressing clearly and confidently what they feel - physically and emotionally.

Investing in these tools is win-win for both the employee and HR, or the company/coachee/coach triad. From the perspective of those evaluated, feedback is generally positive—many express surprise at the accuracy of the results during debriefings.

I recommend using psychometric tests such as the SOSIE 2nd Generation, and the MOTIVA Individual 2 tool for assessing motivation, motivational satisfaction, and professional interests. Their reliability makes them valuable assets for supporting professional development and personal growth.
