Development of the Golden
The Golden Personality Type Profiler has a long and rich history spanning two generations of psychologists. In the early 1980's, Ed Golden’s company ORA played an integral role in the early development of the MBTI® TDI and EAR versions by funding and supporting much of the validation research. Later, ORA developed an assessment that united the ideas of type, temperament, trait and the Big 5 theories into one survey/report and to make it easy to implement. Ed’s son John developed and implemented the plan and created the Golden Personality Type Profiler, which today is known as the most modern and development-oriented type assessment based on Big 5 theories.
