As our National Sales Director, Heather Ishikawa oversees sales and operations throughout the United States and Canada. Heather has held both internal and external sales and consulting positions where she partnered with clients to integrate assessments into their talent management initiatives.  Her clients span a variety of industries including high-tech, publishing, consulting, financial services, retail manufacturing, government and education.  Heather has extensive professional experience in sales, organizational development, staffing, training, succession planning, and competency development. Prior to joining Pearson, Heather was a Senior Regional Sales Consultant at CPP, Inc. She holds an M.A. in Organizational Management and a B.A. in Organizational Communications.

 

John Maketa — Director, Business Development & Strategic Alliances

As our director of Business Development & Strategic Alliances, John Maketa is responsible for evaluating, structuring, and negotiating innovative commercial partnerships, identifying and promoting new product strategies, and serves as Talent Assessment’s liaison for internal alliance development.  John leverages his extensive experience in alliance partnerships and sales management of intangible services related to behavioral performance talent assessment/management, training, consulting, and leadership effectiveness to develop and implement sales strategies for the company. Prior to joining Pearson, John served as Divisional Director of Sales at CPP, Inc. where he was responsible for business development and service delivery for the company’s largest territory of 25 states. During his nine-year tenure at CPP, Inc., John consistently exceeded annual sales and revenue goals.
